As an award-winning photographer and film/television music composer, Shane Harvey has worked in the entertainment industry throughout his native Canada and around the world shooting stills on movie and television sets and as a music composer for numerous acclaimed feature films.
Shane has worked with many world-renowned musicians and actors including Snoop Dogg, Isaac Hayes, Michael Buble, Jon Bon Jovi, Little John, Alanis Morissette, Bradley Cooper, Whoopi Goldberg, Nicole Kidman, Renee Zellweger, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ashton Kutcher to name a few.
Shane’s most recent feature film scores include The Closed Circuit, General Nil, The Rhino Brothers, Gracze, Middlemen. Shane also directed and provided music for Paper Promises, a feature-length documentary. As a singer-songwriter, Shane penned the infectious tune Got A Hold on Me, a song featured in the 2006 box office hit “Final Destination 3” (a project on which he doubled as still photographer) and For Guinevere: To Hell and Back, a wildly original, semi-autobiographical album of Shane’s whose melodies and lyrics feature several musical styles and influences, including jazz and rap.
